The Living Practice of Compassion is an intimate winter solstice retreat held at Home of Bliss in the quiet village of McGregor from 19–21 June 2026.
This contemplative weekend invites you to slow down, reconnect, and explore compassion not simply as an idea — but as a living practice through sound, dialogue, stillness, nourishment, and shared presence.
Throughout the retreat, we gather around the fire for guided dialogue and contemplative inquiry, while immersive sound journeys, mindful movement, breathwork, journaling, and a heart-opening mantra & cacao evening support deep rest, reflection, and inner renewal.
Nourishing vegetarian meals, tea, and refreshments are included throughout the weekend.
Accommodation is excluded, and guests are warmly encouraged to book accommodation in McGregor for the Thursday evening or arrive earlier on Friday to settle gently into the peaceful rhythm of the village before the retreat begins at 4pm.
Investment: R2700 per person
A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your place. Due to the intimate nature of the retreat, spaces are strictly limited.
